Thanks, Mark.  A few years ago I thought my older, smaller vehicles were OK, but
now I am very happy with the larger ones.

Thanks again,

Jonathan

I am currently converting all of my vehicles to 6 wide. They look bulky and
scary at first, but now that I am used to that I prefer the look over the
matchbox versions!

I am sort of doing the same.  Converting my 6 wide trucks to beefier more
detailed 6 wide (using the larger wheels) and bringing my cars and things up
from wimpy 4-wides to 6 wides. I think I am going to stick with 6 and 7 wide
trains.  8 wide would mean I have to redo my entire layout, which I am going to
do at some point, but I don't plan on it within the next couple of years.

Back to 6 wide vehicles:  I am sure you know the work of Spencer, Pierre,
Misterzumbi, Tim Gould and Stephen Asbury.  Great inspiration there.  The cab of
this snowplow was actually developed by Tim.
