   It’s the right era and let’s face it, it ‘borrows’ a lot of US design elements.

Right. That is what I was after. It has the same flavor.

   And now that you’ve reminded me of your Diner again I have to repeat how much I love it.

I’ve uploaded the MPD if anyone wants to have a look at how it holds together (let’s just say it’ll be fragile). Bound to be some mistakes but should be fixable.
