Pics of a classic North American red barn are up on brickshelf:

Details include sliding barn doors, animal stalls, hayloft with hay stacked at
one side and a grain room, hayloft door with hoisting apparatus (haven't been
able to find out the technical term for this yet) and a gambrel roof with a
cupola.

I took this and my farmhouse

to the local Fall Fair a couple weeks ago and set it up on my vegetable stall.
Kids of all ages loved it. (Note that the barn has changed a bit since the
farmhouse pictures were taken).
