While browsing Lego shop, I found two new World City sets coming out on October
20, 03. You have to look at an European country to see them.
So far I see:
7045 Hovercraft Hideout (268 pieces)
7047 Coast Watch HQ (360 pieces)
They have no price but I'm guessing 7045 will be $29.99 USD and 7047 will be
$49.99 USD.
My opinion, the Hovercraft Hideout looks reall cool but the Coast Watch
HQ....still too juniorized.
any thoughts

Thanks for posting this.  I was scanning this on Monday night, and I didn't
see these.  I guess you have to keep your eyes open for surprises on
LEGO.com.

As far as the sets go.  The 7045, IMO, is a must have, as in I must have
at least 2! :)

My enthusiasm isn't as strong for the 7047, since I don't feel the overall
set design is as good as some of the other World City sets.  I do like the
continuation of use in the trans-black (smoke-colored) elements, especially
the quarter round panels.  I also like the inclusion of the "evil doctor"
in the set.

Well these are my primary reactions.  I noticed that the title of the
theme is "World City Police/Rescue"

I wonder if this means we'll see some Fire Fighting stuff...like a Fire
Station (hopefully a return of the garage doors...<drool>) and some
really nicely detailed fire engines.

Just my 2 cents!!

Ben

I just got off the phone with TLC. They informed me that these sets will be
released in the US either late OCT. or early NOV. They are trying to get them
out before the 24th so that buyers can take advantage of the free shipping.
