Something like this is used in the 'trains' in amusement parks (and other
places, we have one here in Eskilstuna driving from the station to the Zoo),
but they have a much simpler mechanism, just a bar from the front axle to
the rear one (bad fixed font art):

so, when the front axle turns, the rear one turns the other way, making the
rear wheels follow in the same tracks as the front ones.
