As usual, excellent work Brad.  I really like what you've done with the new
2003 parts.  Had you planned on using the new parts for this building... and
were just waiting for them to be available?  Or did you look at the new
parts and think "That would make a great..." and start building?

I actually bought the sets and then started playing with some of the big
parts.  I imagined flipping the onion domes upside down and then creating a
curved building on top of that.  I had the large number of 6x6x9 clear
panels sitting around from a large bricklink purchase.

Specifically, I bought the sets for the following reasons:

Jabba's Palace - I thought Jabba looked cool, but I'm not so thrilled with
this set.  I probably won't use Jabba very much and the other parts aren't
too exciting.

Scorpion Palace: I really liked the onion dome and wanted more 2x2x12 white
pillars, plus the big 1x12x3 white arches (as well as numerous smaller
ones).  This is an excellent set that is a great value given the parts.
It's also kind of cool for the main model.

6-legged Republic Walker: I bought it for the main model. This one looked
really cool.  I used the gun turrets immediately for my building.  The other
parts are still together.  I'll probably use them soon.

Small Explorer set with orange monster: I liked the orange monster and other
small parts from this set.

I love the Jar-Jar Binks display. :)
Yep - He is a favorite for bashing.  In an earlier Star Wars Themed night
club, he was the butt of more abuse:

How many Scorpion Palace's were required?  It seems to be 3.
Yep - 3 - I would have bought 4 (as I usually require even amounts), but my
cash ran out!
