Some of you may have seen pictures from MichLUG's July 2002 GATS appearance
of my church model. The original, St. Mary's of Redford Catholic Church in
Detroit MI, was designed in the 1920s by the architect Ralph Adams Cram in a
French Romanesque style.
I have finally taken some photos of the model by itself, which are now
public at:

Photos of the real church are included for comparison.
The model is 20" by 30" roughly and follows the real church itself but omits
the convent and rectory on opposite sides. The model is also selectively
compressed--the real church is 8 bays long, the model 6. I have no idea how
many bricks are involved but hope to find out when I take it apart.
Because of the Romanesque details, I thought this would be of interest to
Castle fans as well as Town. The model will appear again this weekend at
another train show appearance by MichLUG.
