This particular station is in the Bronx on a very busy 2 way street (2 lanes
each way plus parking both sides). I think it is on a odd shaped piece of
land & that is the only reason for the angle. (I believe the whole building
is angled).
In Manhattan, all the stations I have seen have been a straight 'back in'. I
am amazed how these men & women back these huge rigs in (tillers too) on
such narrow streets.
