Thanks for the comments! The nose is actually very sturdy, I've posted
construction notes on brickshelf.

You can see the multiple ways the nose is attached to the fuselage. There is
no wobble in any direction.

P.S. Regarding the HoverThing contest, I didn't find out about the "canopies
must 'be' open" instead of the "canopies must open" rule until after I built
these. I could see where the M450 canpoy might be pushing the rule - but I
didn't want to swap out the glass for a smaller windshield piece just to be
"more compliant". I liked the sleek look of this top.

Anyway, the contest spurred a nice creativity burst for me, so I think it
was a great event/idea regardless of what happens to my entry. The important
thing to me is that I had a lot of fun building this model.
