Re: Have you ever eaten in a tree house?

Wow. Love that roof! I'm going to have to look closely at that, to see if I can imitate it. I love the feel the whole structure has. Beautiful work, as always, Brad. -Andy Lynch ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brad Hamilton" <bhamilto1@home.com> (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

(...) Brad, This is such a neat idea, and very well executed. Thanks! George (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: Have you ever eaten in a tree house?

Nice tree house cafe Brad. Looks like a complex design. The octagonal form gives it a nice rounded shape. Go octagons! (And hexagons). (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

(...) this is cool. Is there any piece you cant find a way to use? You seem to be able to take the most useless looking SPUD elements and make them look good. (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Bicycles

Hi all, I'm currently working on a project involving a large number of bicycles. I know the following colors exist: black, white, red, yellow, pink. Does anybody know if any other colors exist? Also, I'm still in need of black, white, and yellow (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.town)

Have you ever eaten in a tree house?

This is my tree house cafe. Its a restaurant situated in the top of a massive tree. (URL) uses some pretty tricky engineering techniques with an octagonal shape. Here is the city containing it: (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town) !!

  Chateau Paradisa Expansion

I've added 3 additional floors to Chateau Paradisa. The style has also been transformed a bit to look somewhat more like an 18th century building in Amsterdam. (URL) I've made the building a bit more gaudy (if that's possible) with more bright red (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

I got too many other projects I'm working on...maybe in the winter...sounds like a good idea...I'll have to work on getting some bulk bricks and some other's collections.... but you are right it might be fun to design my own (...)   Re: New fire hall almost next to old one?

(...) Yeah, thats waht i figured, but the new hall is right next to where I'd like to put the old one, and i thought it may look strange to be that close, But then i could say that the city originaly had the Public Works Garage where the new fire (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: 1370 Raptor Rumble Studio: thoughts

(...) I personally like the new dinos. While they aren't as good looking as the Adventures ones, I think they have greater potential for other stuff. Along with the Studios sets there are new dinos in cans like Bionicle. The new T-rex looms much (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Re: dacta hospital

(...) Hmm, sound more like a challenge than a problem Benjamin. Have you tried creating your own medically looking stuff? Lot's of lights and tubes and things hanging all over the place.   Re: New fire hall almost next to old one?

(...) Seen it done in real life. Sometime a building is too historicaly important to just mow over, so the ywill build a new one and sell the old to anyone who want's it. Here in Chicago an old fire station was turned into a rather successful bar. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.town)

New fire hall almost next to old one?

I'm building my build for my hobbie store, and was thinking of making it look like an old fire hall, but the problem is that the new fire hall is right next to the property, does anyone think this would look strange? Josh (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: 1370 Raptor Rumble Studio: thoughts

I do believe they are trying to expand the possibilities of what you can make from them. Yes they look different than the adventure dino's and castle dragons, but it is nice to see Lego tyring to expand playability rather than constricting it. James (...)   Re: 1370 Raptor Rumble Studio: thoughts

(...) Can you describe the plane more in detail. Like what other plane parts does it have? Does it have one of those plane control panels or just a flight stick? Also is the construction of the plane just like previous passenger plane sets? -Tim (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: 1370 Raptor Rumble Studio: thoughts

  1370 Raptor Rumble Studio: thoughts

I receive this set last week. The raptor and pterodactyl dinosaurs are built mostly from bricks, with a head and tail piece. I think it is a bit odd that it was done this way- ever since the first castle set, they have made animals out of (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)
