My Shell Station Project - Update

To All, I started working on a Shell Station for MichLUG's sanctioned GATS Train Show in July, and I am making a documentation of the building process as I go along, in keeping with other people's formats, which I have found inspiring. It started (...) (24 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

4 Lego Arena Football Teams planned

I'm planning on building 4 Arena Fooball Teams, with the 2000 Race Theme torsos. This will make the teams: Scorpions, Gators, Sharks, & Tigers. The best parts about Arena Football, is that it can be fit into a small space (the feild is only 50 yds (...) (24 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Minifig sized M-60 machine gun

I was recently brought to awareness that my towns, Shiningston, Blueridge, Eagle Hollow, Ocean Side, & Elm Wood, could be easyly attacked, and that my military defences were short. The solution was to build some new weapons, the M-60 & Morter (...) (24 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  limo and police car MOCs

For my first post to Lugnet, I thought I'd share some of the vehicles I constructed recently. (URL) far I've posted a NM state police car and a stretch limo. The limo has a computer system in the passenger compartment which isn't visible in the (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: 15 new photos of my city

Thanks. I your "sidewalk" ideas.. I had wanted to add parking meters, and I had also thought of newspaper machines too. I'm also thinking of building grillwork into the ground to simulate the subway vents that run along the sidewalks near stations. (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: 15 new photos of my city

Terrific buildings, great vehicles. The view from the ESB is cool, but it makes me think that your sidewalks need some sprucing up to look like a real city. Maybe planters or park benches or parking meters or ornamental trees or something. -- Paul (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Women's Team -- set 3416

(...) I hate Taxes, they allways use it for crap anyways, but, I figured i'd tack it one with a few train wheels since i got to get them anyways. Josh (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.town, lugnet.sports)

  Re: Women's Team -- set 3416

(...) The shipping is why you need a $160ish order to start to break even. Of course if you're an honest upright citizen, you can almost never do better buying from S@H than buying from your local store. (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.town, lugnet.sports)

(...) Hmmm, even with California's 7.5% sales tax, they're a bit cheaper at Legoland ($9.95 instead of $9.99), at least in small quantities (I figured out at one time that it took something like a $160 order to be cheaper than buying local with our (...) Guys, *guys*.... please keep this out of all the theme groups. I for one don't enjoy wading thru tons of un-castle-related posts. Even the way-back post, was about SW, and this is posted in every theme group *but* .sw!!
