I have a new/rebuilt truck. SFD engine 2 was in a nasty accident, and as an
insurance wright off, the engine was replaced with the newly competed engine
12. Ambulance 2 and Haz-mat 1 were also wrecked, but not as bad. Ambulance
2 lost its cab, and Haz-mat one was rolled onto its side. Engine 2 was
blowen 2 base plates away. The accident was caused by a natural gas line
explosion beind hall #1.
Engine 2 has a new life though, the insurence just required it to be
repalced, so the truck was rebuilt, minus the roof ladder, into a
telescoping boom truck. The storage cabinets were aslo sawed down.
Pictures to come very soon, along with pictures of the aftermath of the
explosion.
