Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I've posted anything at all so I figured I'd
announce my latest project. I recently finished an 8-wide '57 'Vette. I have
quite a few renderings of different styles of the car on my Brickshelf page.
See http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=2981
The car has opening doors, hood w/engine, & trunk w/spare tire and fire
extinguisher. It is just a little bit too big for a minifig, but it doesn't
look too bad in the convertible model.
I will hopefully have pictures soon.
I was surprised at how well it wame out considering all I had when I started
building it was a die-cast of about the same scale, and it only took a
couple of hours to build.
I also did a little "Corvette Country Road" scene which I might enter into
next month's LDraw.org MOTM if I get some good response. I'll also post .dat
files if anyone is interested. Oh, and the cows, which are really awesome,
were made by John Rudy, see.. http://news.lugnet.com/cad/dat/models/?n=1343
I'd appreciate comments or questions very much, so PLMKWYT.
Ryan
