Re: Couple of revised trucks and a bit more . . .

(...) Hi Jonathan, You're getting a super armada of trucks there. These new ones are definitely a vast improvement on the old ones. I think I prefer the slide-off. I also see they have mirrors. Does that mean you're converted? ;) Front Ave is (...) (18 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.town)

Couple of revised trucks and a bit more . . .

Hello, One of my goals for 2007 was to revisit my vehicles and make them a lot more substantial than they were. I did my garbage trucks a while ago and now with the release of the cement mixer in June, I really wanted to look at creating an engine (...)   Studs Up Studs Down

Always had to choose between studs up or studs down in building a roof structure. Studs down mostly if interior shots were to be taken and studs up if exterior shots were more important. Finally managed to get the best of both, Studs Up Studs Down (...) (18 years ago, 31-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Cafe Corner add-on module

Is the Cafe Corner layout already a standard? If it wasn't before, it is now- I see lots of people building additions to the plan- here's mine: (URL) when moderated: (URL) from parts on hand, no BrickLink order involved. PLMKWYT! Tim (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.town) !

Re: A new building in Cafe Corner size

Hi Stacey, hi Dave, (...) Thanks for your feedback. The interior is not furnished and not usable. The interior is completely empty.... Andreas Böker (abhf) (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Some Buildings built for NMRA 2007

(...) Thanks, Will. (...) I have many fond memories of going to train shows and displays with my dad as a child as well. If I weren't into lego, I'd be into HO trains. My dad build my younger brother and myself some tables to display our HO trains (...) (18 years ago, 28-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: Some Buildings built for NMRA 2007

These are nicely rendered, Jonathan, As soon as I saw them, my mind took me back to when I was a kid and my father was building his HO model railroad. His "downtown" area backdrop was lined with plastic building facades just like these. Yours are (...) (18 years ago, 28-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: A new building in Cafe Corner size

(...) The detail here is amazing. I also like the 1x1 rounds in the doorway. I also like the use of the 1x1's to make the window frames. Is the interior of this MOC usable? Furnished? -Dave & Stacy (18 years ago, 28-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... short reveiw and modified

(...) Thank you. And me too, that’s why I added the awning. It was a pain in the butt to do though as the geometry in that area is tight. I ended up using headlight bricks with 1x2 brick hinges snotted to make it work. Plate hinges just wouldn't (...) (18 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Some Buildings built for NMRA 2007

Re: Some Buildings built for NMRA 2007

(...) These facades are your best work in terms of the color and proportion. I agree with pretty much all the prior comments. The detail work combined with the color combinations result in the most realistic buildings that I have seen with the (...) (18 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)
