  Re: ACME Industries Factory

(...) I love it. It looks just like a factory or industrial-zoned building, which it should. All the roof-top elements are fabulous. I might have gone with another color tile than sand green on the tops of the facade, but that is just me. (...) (18 years ago, 12-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  New Monorail System (MOC)

This monorail (URL) built with tracks from Snowmobile 8272 and the forthcoming Bullozer 8275. The Power Functions system (URL) allows IR remote control of the train. I found it runs smoother with these yellow wheels than with the smaller black ones (...)   Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

Holy cow. I don't go online for a week and look what happens. That is amazing. I think that is the first set in a long time that I might not take apart right away for the parts. (But there is so many good parts and I prefer a bit smaller scale. I'd (...) (18 years ago, 10-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: ACME Industries Factory

(...) Hey, that's cool. My first impression was that it reminded me of the cover of the Pink Floyd album Animals. I like the color variation of the red against the grey. Works really well. -Elroy (18 years ago, 10-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) I totally agree with you. It seems that all my buildings have the either stacked 2x2 trans-black panels or the 1x4x5 large pane windows. Not much variety. They need to make a 1x3x4 double paned office building window. -Jim (18 years ago, 10-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

Al, Very nicely done, I lived in a house not so unlike these when I was a student in Brighton. This style of house is very boxy and rather plain, which means that it can be replicated very convincingly in LEGO. Your use of 2 by 1 plates really adds (...) (18 years ago, 8-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)
