Yesterday when I went to Wal-Mart, I saw a Bionicle set on a 50% sale.  The
set number was 8560 and it was originally priced at $9.78 cdn.  Anyway I
thought that since I've never bought any Bionicle before for various
reasons, I might just as well purchase that set and see what Bionicle is all
about.  I also bought a 8570 along with it at its original price.
Actually I was interested in the Bionicle theme when it first came out but I
hadn't bought any until last night because I was saving cash to work on my
soccer stadium.
Now, after putting the 2 sets together I found them pretty attractive and
interesting.  But I have a problem:  I've no idea what Bionicle is about.
I mean, how do you play with it?  Is it like a board game?  Or like those
RPG type card game?  Or are they just for display and what's the difference
between those masks and what are the reasons to collect those different
masks?...
BAH, see, I have too many questions about the theme...
Can anyone give me some insights about it?  I've checked the LEGO Bionicle
site already but it didn't solve anything but to confuse me more...LOL.
Maybe I'm too dumb to understand, hehe.

I was slow on Bionicle in the begining too. I built the models and /liked/ them, but really didn't know where to go from there. It seems somewhere along the way, I reached a "critical mass" of Bionicle parts, and really started enjoying building (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
