Help on lava lake

Help! I'm stuck on the animation crossing lava lake. I keep surfing
across the lake, but when I get to the other side, the next image doesn't load.
When this happened on other images in the past I could back out and come back
later but now I am "stuck" on the lake. Hitting the key button repeats the
sequence but does not get me out. Has anybody else had this kind of problem?
