I was just wondering if anyone has ever had trouble with the Fiber
Optic cable strands (in an 8480 in this case) such as breakage from
repeated handling.  I haven't had a problem, I am just wondering if I
should order some spares while I still can.

Thanks in advance,

Thomas

I haven't had any problem, but they haven't been subject to excessive
handling.

I have, however, ordered spares, just in case :-) Wouldn't it be
terrible to have a working light unit with no fibres?

They've stopped selling this service pack in the UK, so mine are coming
from the US.
