Excuse me a moment while I put on Steve the astronaut's flame-resistant
spacesuit...
What is everyone's opinion on making modifications to pieces to gain
appearance/functionality unavailable in standard LEGO pieces? I'm sure I've
missed a debate on this one, so I apologize if I am opening sore wounds...
If a custom piece has to be made, is it better to use a LEGO basis or obtain a
sacrificial clone?
I am anticipating needing custom shapes that just aren't going to be in ANY
sets that I can imagine.
Thanks for your ideas... it's nice to see where everyone come from on these
things...
