No :-) However, assuming it works in the way I think it does there may be
some inspiration to be had from my hook lift truck:

I think it works on a far simpler principle though - I saw one here recently
carting off a broken down car and from what I gather, first of all the
flatbed is tipped to a fairly shallow angle, which could be done using
pneumatics. The next stage is for the flatbed to slide backwards so that the
rear of it comes into contact with the road; because it has to move quite
far this could be done with a rack and pinion system or even threads and
pulleys.

Of course, I could be barking up the wrong tree entirely!
