nah. That ain't mad. *MAD* is when you put 8 of the new gearmotors in parrallel, gear them down and power them with a pair of 9.6V RC battery packs. The resulting dual-differential drive, tracked robot chassis can move quite a bit of weight with no (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

I used the "rubber" tracks like the ones that come with the RIS. They shake the chassis something awful at high speeds, though. The pics from the onboard VC look like you're driving it through the epicenter of an earth quake : ) I'm thinking of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) The shaking is caused by the rib on the track going over the wheel. When the ribs dead centre the vehicle will be at it's highest point as the vehicle lifts itself onto the rib. As the rib moves away the vehicle 'falls' back onto the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)
