But previous technic sets at similar price points are equally low in
function. Look  at all the mini technic sets that fall between three and
five dollars. Most are equipped with one function ( a wheel-driven propellar
for example). Or look at the sonic cycle. One could argue that shock
absorbers and a steerable front wheel are not technic functions per se at
all.So what's technic about the sonic cycle? There have been technic sets
that are low on function and distinguishable only by their parts for a long
time.
