    Re: Small Axle —David Arnon
(...) So now we just have to find out why the <part:6216m 4.5V motor> (as in <set:5101>) has the same notch on it's output shaft. (to pull the motor out? :) - David (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

        Re: Small Axle —James Powell
(...) Nope. Ever try running a rubber band in it though? James (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

Its been my experience that the notches are used to "click" them into place. Example: slowly put one into a full gray (or red) bush, you can "feel" it "click" or "lock" into place. It does the same thing with axle connectors too. Hope this helps. -- (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

        Re: Small Axle —Steve Lane
(...) It's not the same notch, their different. The one on the motor is rounded while the one on the 2L axle is set at a right angle. Steve (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)
