Thanks for the tip! Finding out technical details of the F1 online has
been useless--seems that McLaren doesn't feel the need to boast about
suspension design, etc.
Designing the shift stick was particularly interesting, since it's 6
speeds + reverse, and the stick is not at the center of the car (the
driver's seat is at the center). I had to use Lego's flex cables to
connect the shifter stick to the gearbox.
And I can see why the car would be so fast--it's a HUGE engine with four
wheels and a seat. A friend of mine owns a 360 Modena, 355 Spyder, and
a 911 Turbo... Yes the real thing. Suddenly they don't seem so nice anymore...
