They probably stopped making them a year ago, left them in the S@H catalog as long as they had a big stack of them in the warehouse, and are only down to a handfull now. It's still up at shop.lego.com until that last handfull is gone, that way (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

Yeah i saw those pieces on in the instructions for the Claw rig but i thought they were solid plastic ie. not flexible. But there you go... (...) 8074 and 8485 have lots of these parts but can be somewhat hard to come by. Your best bet at the moment would probably be the 8479 Barcode Multi-set (I think this is still available). The 8457 Power Puller also has two small lengths of flex (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)
