I've built it. It was fun. (I think I have a picture of it somewhere
attacking our cat.)
It walks quite slowly, and if you don't have the old-style, toothed
half-bushings (Technic Bush 1/2 Type I, 4265a), the large pulleys tend
to slip off after it's walked for a while. The Type II (4565b) half
bushings don't grip as tightly. I haven't tried the new toothless half
bushings.
Nevertheless, it's quite a fun little model. I left it up for months,
something I don't usually do
Building two would be a blast.
