Sure - it took about 6 weeks from start to finish to build the excavator,
although I wasn't working on it all the time. Much of this was spend
"debugging" and tweaking the model rather than pure creation as such; in that
way it was a bit like programming. Saying that, it's actually very difficult
to quantify the time spent on a model because I often have ideas and
inspiration while not actually building.
