I've done this lots of times, but I don't know if I have any pictures. It takes some fiddling to get these to mesh smoothly. One trick you can use is to lug connect beams at right angles to your assembly. This lets you use the spacing difference (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

It seems that Toys R Us in the Metro NY Area (and elsewhere I suspect, by the Ebay listings) has Znap sets on clearance. The motorized sets are going for $9.97 - far cheaper than the cost of a motor alone. I picked up a bunch for motors and donated (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

Blue would have been better, but I also noticed that the most expensive Caterham 7s (the Superlight R) have unpainted carbon fibre front (...) Tobbe, This is a nice looking model, especially with all the functions. As to more traction, you could use alternating regular chain links and tread links and mount a 1x4 plate on each tread link, studs out. I'm not sure how realistic this would (...) i was wondering if it would be possible to add hydralics to an 8880. essentially, you would have to replace all of the shocks with large pneumatic cylinders to get the effect done right. perhaps you could use an electric compressor like in the 8868. (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
