(...) Thx. (...) I use a 1x3 plate when I want more traction. The problem is that the plates often get ripped of when driving... I prefer the low-friction solution. It seems that Toys R Us in the Metro NY Area (and elsewhere I suspect, by the Ebay listings) has Znap sets on clearance. The motorized sets are going for $9.97 - far cheaper than the cost of a motor alone. I picked up a bunch for motors and donated (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
