Reliable accuracy is indeed needed for both. Lego did very well with the Pit
Droid, and I have all confidence that Lego could do very well with the
Stormtrooper. I imagine that some of the model prototypes that led to the final
product were much better. Probably some middle-management wonder decided that
we'd all rush out to buy an army of Stormtroopers no matter what it looked like,
so diligent quality suffered. Nice throwbot. Not-so-nice Stormtrooper.

A more difficult subject requires more diligence to faithfully reproduce.

I have no doubt that the imaginative ability of the Lego designers is sufficient
to create a Stormtrooper that is accurate, recognizable, and marketable.
