| Thanks for the replies. I think I'll stick to getting the RIS upgrade, extra motor and rotation sensor for the moment and wait a little longer for more Technic parts - I'm trying to find things my girlfriend can buy me for my birthday, she's already (...) | There are some bricks, plates, axles, gears, etc. As Ralph noted, not a great value for parts only. It is a great little book for the up and coming tinkerer. The only parts worth mentioning are the 40 tooth gears. -- -Rob. ===...=== New sets and (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) Whether or not the 8860 is based on the Porsche 911 I have no idea, but it is certainly a similar layout. It is also not a million miles away from a Volkswagen Beetle, but then, if my memory serves me well, neither is a Porsche 911 :-) (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)
