Yes, but the plastic used has changed several times since 948's release. It
was a lot stiffer, IIRC, in those days.

| I recently came across an Expert Builder #948, and I have a couple of questions about the tubing used in it. I hope someone can help. First, is the tubing the same as the black tubes used in the pneumatic systems? Is it the same as the 8860's (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.technic)
