One of the things I noticed was that a few quick
cuts with a hobby knife allow the roborider wheels to
be used in a throwbot arm. On the non-picture side,
there are three pairs of support ribs. The spacing
between is the same width as a throwbot disk slot.
If you cut a notch in the wheel, the wheel can slide
onto the throwbot arm hand.
Clinical trials indicate the wheels work better than
normal disks. The added mass makes them fly straighter
and knock over targets better. Plus, the peg holes
give an easy way to store them. My Flare (#8521)
now carries two orange wheels from the lava roborider
on the orange shoulder pegs.
Why did LEGO overlook this?
