    Quicke question on 8448 —Michael Firman
   Does anyone know why the gears in the gearbox on this model are rounded like that? Why didn't TLG use standard gears? Mike (24 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)

   (...) The gears can be used as beveled gears and can be set 90 degrees opposed. I have seen this in another set, I cannot recall which. The gears can also be used with the 12 tooth beveled gear.
