It's a shameless plug for my own work, but hey, you asked for ideas ;-)
I thought the same way you did, the combine was screaming to be motorized, I
went one step further and shoved in a NXT and a couple sensors to make it
autonomous. I did manage to keep all the cool mechanisms up front, but had to
take out the driver's seat to make way for the drive motor.

| Hi all, Lately I've been looking at my 8274 Combine harvester and can't help but think that the big empty space in the back could accomodate the big motor from pack 8287.... the problem is that the differential is in the front and that part of the (...) (17 years ago, 11-Nov-07, to lugnet.technic)
