absolutly awsume there Nathan! right on.. i've operated a CAT14G motor grader
and the detail that you have ,+ mechanics is perfect.
you said that the rear wheels are not totally flat?.. send me a photo of what
you mean, i would be happy to take a boo at it if you like..
enjoy Brickfest.. wish i could be there..
in case your wondering, working on a turnpike truck right now**two dry vans back
to back with a converter and daycab..
take care, Glen Bell bellcapitol@shaw.ca

Its good to hear from you Glen!  I said that when the grader turns, that the
rear wheels want to pull apart at the bottom due to the twisting forces on them,
but no they are not flat.  I tried to make it look and work just like the real
thing, even though the blade does not turn very far.

I look forward to seeing your MOC when it is complete!

By the way- a modification I may make after BrickFest would be using a newer
coupling/turntable instead of the older one.  The blade can only turn about 22
degrees to each side, which is about 1/2 to 1/3 of the range of a real grader.
The newer coupling would allow me to place the turning piston closer to the
rotation axis so as to get more turn out of it.

Unless I can use the old long pneumatic pistons for the grader, it is not really
possible for a grader that size to have much range without using pistons back to
back- which would be too much length for this grader anyway.

Batfink's small scale design is the perfect size for TLC's pistons.  Mine is
twice the scale so TLC's pistons can do 1/2 as much for it.
