BrickVention will be demonstrating a Great Ball Contraption and would like you to join in the fun.

All you need to do Is build one or more “Modules” and bring it/them along on Saturday the 10th of June. Be sure to register at http://www.brickventures.com/index.html

A standard module should comply to these guides:

Each module should have an “in” basket, and will move balls to the next module’s “in” basket, which must be directly in line.

The IN basket should be 10 studs by 10 studs (outside dimension) with an 8x8 opening, and should be 10 bricks (beams) tall.

The front of the basket should be 32 studs from the back of the module. This will allow all modules to be lined up against a wall. The back of the module CAN be closer to the basket, but not farther.

The In basket should be located on the left side of the module, and output should go to the right.

There are no size limits, beyond those listed

Each module should be able to accept balls at an average rate of 1 ball per second. Balls can be passed continuously, or in a batch. A batch should not exceed 30 balls.

All modules must run on 9V DC which will be provided.

The 64x32 stud return modules will be in place, so all you need to do is put something in the middle.

General BrickVention details can be found here http://www.brickventures.com/brickvention.html

Please email me GBC

if you have any questions or intend on bringing a module so I can work out power requirements.

So get your balls out and have some fun.
