I am really getting the feeling that between you guys, you are really
pushing pneumatic logic generally, not just in terms of Lego. Have you
thought of taking some of your Lego logic designs, and miniaturising
them into blocks? Even better is you could miniaturise them, and embed
them into a Lego block with normal input/output hoses.
Even the slightly humbler task of embedding a solenoid into a Lego
brick would be a huge step forward.
Kind of taking the same tack as those who make customised RCX sensors.
These smaller blocks would give you building bocks to make even more
complex pneumatic designs.
This configurable gate concept just reminds me of early ALU/PLU devices.
