| Thanks for the info; I went yesterday to Oakville and got it. It looks really neat! Pros: 3 section boom more wheels motor to operate both the extension and the hook lowering Cons: Not many technic/regular bricks outriggers (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

These would be good exercises on the 8649: * Adding a standard Technic V8 engine (aka 10077) in front (so I can claim it's a lime 300C w/ a Hemi); * Standard motorization w/ 8735; or * Adding 8475/8366 RC control (...)
