Hi all,

I am happy to announce my first MOC in 2005: Stuttgart’s Television Tower in scale 1:80 with a total height of more then 9 ft.

The Television Tower in Stuttgart was the first of its kind and was build 50 years ago. The real tower is 217 m (~ 712 ft) in height. I worked out some scale calculations and ended up in building it in scale 1:80. It took a week to build the whole tower and the first complete setup was last Sunday during the 1000steine-meeting in Frechen.

Find more information about the real tower and my LEGO model at my homepage and see more pictures at my brickshelf gallery.

Kind regards form Germany,

HoMa

HoMa,

Nice MOC! I really like it, although I have one small thing about it. Something about the railing support doesn’t seem to match. The tower is nice and smooth, but then the railing supports aren’t. Maybe try putting a 1x2 tile on the outward studs of the railing supports to smooth it out?

All the rest, I like--even the height!

Schleim On!
