As I'm considering the use of a few pneumatic switches
in a non-Lego application (manual override for a
vacuum-actuated climate-control system), I'd like
to now the following:
Since the old pneumatic system requires this in order
to function, I'm quite certain that whichever side
of the switch is connected to the center will hold
both pressure and vacuum tightly, while the disconnected
side is vented to the atmosphere. With the switch centered,
both sides are vented, while the center is shut.
Is this correct?
Furthermore, do the current switches work the same
way? Specifically, will the hold a vacuum?
thanks,
