| Has anyone modified a universal joint? Was your modified part successful? I find that the uni joints are too long for certain train applications. I propose to take a broken uni joint (the axle holding parts break at the ends), and do the following (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.trains)

| (...) If I remember correctly (haven't had my RC out for a few months), 1 & 2 go together. That is, the two small pedals control any output that is connected to the gray power connector. | I’ve just received my first Lego RC set, 8366. I have a few questions: 1. The remote control has two small pedals, what are there for? 2. | (...) They don't make these new panels in metallic green (aka pea soup puke green) - yet. And N says he built the car using only 8458 and 8466. When they were current panels #20-23 don't exist yet. <opinion> Anyways he's leagues above us mere (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.technic)
