| Nice web design Duq, it is also good to see the new pictures of that mobile crane at last! I had no idea you had made the first section of the boom hollow, that is definitely a good idea :-) Some Grove cranes seem to do a similar thing by cutting (...) | You're right, it's impossible to make working cylinders of that size. The telescopic boom weights a lot .... But with aluminium you can create nice boom cylinders. | Just wait for his current project: the DEMAG CC12600. I made some pictures last weekend (he only has the undercarriage finished for about 90%). Total height will be approx. 3 to 4 metres!! | (...) Mlcad too difficult? I've only been using it a week and came up with this today. (URL) feedback would be much appreciated, and I know one of the bricks overlaps :-) Selecting lots of parts at once can be difficult but their are ways around it (...)
