Do Bioncle Masks hide Greedy Marketing?

What is the real purpose behind the sale of SO many different Bionicle masks? Is there a game coming up where each mask has some ability? Why are the masks sold in such a way that you can't tell what mask you're getting? Is this a simple marketing (...) (26 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: The Next Event

Hi again! The fever is getting me. Today I bought the first additional masks and another Toa. But I think I wont´t buy 90 at a time like XTIAN! Maybe I ask him to change doubles, if I have some in a few weeks :-) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Hi! Yes, 15. March is right. I look forward for Thursday evening, too. The exact happening should be 19:00 o´clock (7 PM).   Re: Steering of driven wheels

Hello, I recently tried different steering/driving concept for a moc I'm working on. A solid axle with steering/driving/suspension is easier (imho) to do than independant wheel suspension, since it requires less CV joints and the steering can use (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: pneumatic parts

(...) I used to get individual pneumatic components from the (now defunct) Service Catalogue which persisted far longer in Europe than it did in the US. I bought stuff more or less as I needed it, but one thing I noticed over time was that it would (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: pneumatic parts

You can get the pumps at Dacta: (URL) a search for part number 779915. They cost $10.75 for two. The cylinders cannot be ordered separately. However, several companies on www.brickbay.com sell them (and also the pumps). Search on "pheumatic" from (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Steering of driven wheels

You can get by with U-joints if you limit the travel of your suspension abit or are very careful about your pivot points. I'm not familiar with the suspension in the Land Rover, but I'd guess that it's got unequal length A-arms and that ussually (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)
