Hi, I've got a black 3x2 block in my large mixed box of Technic, but I'm not sure what it does! The block has a power cable socket in the top, and a smooth axle hole through it, as well as a smaller hole on one side. I've looked through the various (...) (15 years ago, 18-Jan-10, to lugnet.technic)

(URL) Hi folks Last fall we had the swine flu outbreak - it spread here too, of course, and I fell ill too. While my symptoms remained vague, I was in bed for a week. And one week in bed tends to be kind of boring. So I took my brick boxes onto a (...) (15 years ago, 17-Jan-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) A corollary to this (that I discovered yesterday - apologies if this is already well known) is that you can use a bushing to lock a driving ring to the axle - the same notches that allow the bushing to fit between four studs will act as the (...) (...) Hi Ari, I'd love to build it. No lack of necessary parts here. Could you post (or send me) a copy of the LDraw file you took that screenshot from? Never mind if it's incomplete. It's just easier to build if I can see it from different angles. (...) (15 years ago, 7-Jan-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Hi, here is an idea to build a good old fashioned twin stick truck transmission. I don't have enough synchro parts so I can't build this myself. Is there any volunteers to build and test it? :) (URL) Schematics> (URL) Twin Stick 5x4> More accurate (...) (15 years ago, 7-Jan-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

OK, here comes another one! (2 URLs) This has a new (?) method of locomotion - it rolls along just by changing its shape. The wheels are fixed to the body and do not rotate. In principle you could enclose the whole thing in a plastic bag and it (...) (15 years ago, 30-Dec-09, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)
