Re: What would YOU like to see from TECHNIC?

(...) Ah finally. It's great to see that lego want to know what we want when it comes to lego TECHNIC. However for me it is not only about the chosen inspiration for a model, but what functionality and parts (especially new function orientated (...) (17 years ago, 4-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: What would YOU like to see from TECHNIC?

What would I like to see from TECHNIC? Something different. Something beautiful and elegant and mechanically complex and not another vehicle. Perhaps a mechanical calculator. Or a kinetic sculpture. Of course, I fully understand that the target (...) (17 years ago, 4-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: What would YOU like to see from TECHNIC?

(...) It's hard take a poll like this without more info.   Re: Wonderful design tidbits PDF - anybody else impressed?

This is a very well-designed book. He's following LEGO's lead in not using words to describe the pictures and instead lets the pictures describe themselves. I really like his color choices. They make identifying parts very easy. This is a subtle (...) (17 years ago, 4-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: What would YOU like to see from TECHNIC?

(...) When I was 14 years old or so, I would make expert builder style race cars in every color I could. Then I could play out a realistic race with all the cars. I even made a movie with them in school, I wish I could get a hold of that! What about (...) (17 years ago, 4-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic)

Wonderful design tidbits PDF - anybody else impressed?

This popped up on theNXTstep blog a short time ago - it's from a builder in Japan named Isogawa Yoshihito, and I've got to say I'm really impressed, and was wondering what others thought. The blog post: (URL) the webpage with the download (he's (...) (17 years ago, 4-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic) !!

Re: What would YOU like to see from TECHNIC?

(...) I'm not the world's biggest Technic fan, I will admit that. But I've been a Technic (a.k.a. Expert Builder) fan for a while and still have my original #853 Auto Chassis, #854 Go-kart and #850 Fork Lift. I also have a handful of newer Technic (...) (17 years ago, 4-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic)
