(...) Thank you! I just finished adding the pilot to the cockpit. (...) LMAO, no comment other than the line I wrote above. (LOL) (...) Stage 9 coming soon. Completion projected at Stage 10.   Re: Lego Servo's

(...) I am not very sure how this works.. do you have to have power from the battery pack on all the time then the servo just switches from full forward to none then to full reverse? if this is the case. then it would be pretty jerky.. i am hoping (...)   Re: Lego Servo's

(...) It wouldn't cause any problem. I use 6 AA NiMH batteries to power 9V Lego motors all the time without any ill effects. This includes the NXT motors, the RC Buggy motor, and the RC Trains motor. Both through the NXT brick and using a normal (...) (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Lego Servo's

(...) Connect a "6551 Electric Technic Pole Reverser" to the servos - if you can find them. I glued medium pulleys to the servo and stuck a normal technic axle through the whole thing. Perhaps some inspiration here: (URL) here: (URL) are quite a few (...) (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Lego Servo's

(...) Yes. That's what I'm suggesting. I doubt it would cause any problem to power the 9v motors with 7.2v batteries. (but I could be wrong) Steve (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Lego Servo's

(...) You mean take a regular Electronic Speed control thats usually powered by a 7.2 Nimh Pack and wire it into the standard Lego Motor? I wonder if it would work or burn out the motor. those batteries have alot of juice Adam (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Lego Servo's

(...) About the only thing I could suggest is buying regular speed controllers. You should be able to get some electronic ones that can plug right into the receiver. Steve (17 years ago, 23-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Side forklift

Hey cool. I see the way you used the worm box. Interesting technique! At first I wondered how you used the upper chain links. I thought one end was secured, and, through a sort of "pully" action, raised the forks. Now I see. I wonder what other (...) (17 years ago, 23-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pallet Truck

Hey that is great! Awesome pictures! Love the lift/gif. Having used these machines in the past it was a kick to see one modeled in Lego. Good use of stud less for sure! Thanks for sharing. Eric Sophie (17 years ago, 22-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Side forklift

Hi all, it seems that the Spring brings new life in the technic elevator-field. So, beside making my compliments to Peer Kreuger for his beautiful pallet lifter, I just wanted to show my latest attemp to build a side forklift, which is not the (...) (17 years ago, 22-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pallet Truck

(...) Very cool! So much like the real thing, and very elegantly implemented. I like your V-8 engine pallet as well. Any idea how much weight the jack will lift? I would love to put one together to try it out. I think I can figure out most of the (...) (17 years ago, 21-May-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Informations on new TECHNIC element and color coded parts

(...) Hmm. That would seem to imply that a 1x3 thin liftarm is, indeed, 3M long. Yes, "M" is defined as the distance between two hole centers, but the length of the piece can be cleanly read off the graph behind it - 3M. (17 years ago, 21-May-07, to lugnet.technic)
