Re: Power Functions Element Pics (inc Plugs)

(...) OK, here's a few while you wait :-) Basic system as used in the creator dinosaur set 4958 (inc handset & battery box): (URL) IR receiver: (URL) motor (inc plug top): (URL) motor (inc stud recesses on bottom and plug bottom): (URL) (18 years ago, 27-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Motorized bulldozer complete

(...) I rarely post anything on Lugnet, but felt I had to this time. I love this model. I like that all the controls are inside the cabin, the hoses are neatly managed, and pneumatics are used for all aspects of maneuvering the shovel. Excellent (...) (18 years ago, 27-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Motorized bulldozer complete

Good construction, solid looking model. Cool light stalk over the front end plow. I like that shock dampend rear cog. What's that work like? ...and this is a nice pic too! Shows some interesting aspects to your bulldozer: (URL) (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Motorized bulldozer complete

(...) Thanks Timothy. I'll have to start taking resumes at pet stores. On a more serious note, kid drivers are the real test- If kids at shows can operate it as a toy, then the design is good. I teach kids at church on Sunday nights and also let (...) (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Motorized bulldozer complete

(...) It's big and impressive! How do you stick the 1x6 plates onto the chain links? And are you going to train a rat to drive it? I'd like to see movies when you do! (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Motorized bulldozer complete

It isn't remote control like TLC's design, but a trained rat could drive it. (URL) me know what you think. (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic) !

Re: Power Functions Element Pics (inc Plugs)

(...) I'm guessing there's a video. If so, I would recommend putting the video in a sub-folder by itself, as it is probably what is causing the delay. ROSCO (18 years ago, 25-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

(...) hey mark, thank you for posting all of this info. i look forward to seeing the gallery but it seems to be taking forever to be moderated. is there a chance you could post some deep links? ondrew (18 years ago, 25-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Power Functions Element Pics (inc Plugs)

(...) Here are the pictures of the Power Functions elements from the Bulldozer 8275, including pictures of the plugs. (URL) (when modified). You can see it's a 4-wire system. There are basically 2 wires for power and 2 for control. I'll give more (...) (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

RE: More Power Function MOC pics

I guess it is too much to wish for to ask if the bigger motors also have encoders? (18 years ago, 22-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: More IR Bulldozer pics

1). I am envious... 2). Can you post pictures of the underside of the connector, the battery box connector and the IR connector? I would much appreciate it, thanks.   Tunnel Mouth / Bridge Arch

The tracks from the Snowmobile 8272 and Bulldozer 8275 make a great tunnel mouth or bridge arch - smoother than using slope bricks. (URL) used 27 links at the moment, fixing them twice on each side. The arch as built fits well over 6-wide, 8-wide or (...)   Re: More Power Function MOC pics

(...) Well spotted Brian :-) The electric elements are those that will feature in the new Bulldozer. The rest of the MOC is parts from my own collection, NOT the rest of the Bulldozer!   More IR Bulldozer pics

Here's a "rover robot" built, apparently, out of the new IR Bulldozer. August is much too far away. I like the look of those motors, not just for this but for GBC modules and other "simple" automation, and (if the IR system is compatiable) with the (...)   Re: 2 New GBC modules: a ZNAP ferris wheel

(...) Yeah, I forgot them too in my pile, but they happily resurfaced. ;~D (...) I uploaded the movie again, but without result... (...) I forgot there is a ZNAP group on Lugnet... :) (...) annoying. But, still, it's very cool. I like your stuff. I can't wait until the pictures are moderated. Something's wrong with Movie 2 (it can't find the file) Steve (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.znap, lugnet.technic)

2 New GBC modules: a ZNAP ferris wheel

Hello gang! Here is finally a working GBC module ferris wheel made out of ZNAP. After many reflexions, I wanted to put at a good use some of my ZNAP pieces. I was thinking for quite a while on how to use a ferris wheel for the GBC. (URL) unloading (...) (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.znap, lugnet.technic)
