  Re: pneumatic 3 legged

(...) Cool! This looks a bit like the "Triskelion", the 3-legged symbol of the Isle of Man: (URL) a different style of tripod! Should be good over rough terrain too. Have you tried making one of those little dogs that does a back-flip? I was (...) (19 years ago, 7-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Are you adding the extra switch just to slow the control pistons down? I can't wait to see the movie. You know that now I'm going to have to see how small a one I can make. :^) (...) Kev (19 years ago, 1-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Motorized WWII Style Tank

Very nice! I am getting back into military style MOCs myself and would love to build a minifig scale motorized tank, but I know virtually nothing about technic. Which motors /controllers did you use, and can I find these or similar ones in present (...) (19 years ago, 1-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Liebherr LR-1750 Completion Photos

(...) Dunno about Alvins, but my CC-2800 only needs the extra ballast while raising the boom. Once it's up, the extra ballast can be disconnected, and just rely on the counterweight attached to the superstructure. Of course I have to be careful not (...)   Re: Liebherr LR-1750 Completion Photos

(...) Hello Alvin, Excellent work, this is a very impressive model! I really like the red & white color scheme on the luffing jib and the huge crawlers. I'm not sure if it comes apart easily but I would be interested to see pictures of the how the (...) (19 years ago, 1-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Liebherr LR-1750 Completion Photos

(...) 30 lbs! I did not realize it took that much weight to balance the boom, but I guess that makes sense. 40 hrs is not much time at all for a design that big. Is it possible to build a crane that tall without grounded support in the rear? I mean (...) (19 years ago, 1-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)

  mini quad

this is just a small fun project to see how small a pneumatic quad could be so i take all the room taking thinks out (swiches) and use the small piston's the swiches to make a schema work are outside the body and are just linked to the pistons in (...)   Re: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand

Anyone remember Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors? If so, has anyone tried to make one of those vehicles out of legos? If so, do you have a link to it? (19 years ago, 31-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Liebherr LR-1750 Completion Photos

Good Afternoon. I have finally gotten around to posting the completion photos of my Liebherr LR-1750 (fomrer LR-1600). The photos show the crane set up with the heavy main boom, the superlift with counterweight tray, and a luffing jib. The overall (...) (19 years ago, 31-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic) !

  Re: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand

(...) I did some research a while back and discovered the show I remember as "G-Force" (here is Canada) aka "Battle of the Planets" (or BOTP for those in the know :) or the original name, Gatchaman.   Re: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand

Well, I remember the show, although I didn't make the connection at first. M.A.S.K was pretty much a precursor to bigger and better stuff like transformers and action vehicles. Even though it aired a little later, it was still based loosely around (...) (19 years ago, 31-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Does anyone here remember this cartoon from the 80s? If so, has anyone tried to make lego versions of these vehicles? (19 years ago, 31-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Gottwald AMK 1000t mobile crane

I Disagree. Many models *require* a high resolution pic to properly view all of the details. If hi-res and low-res are available that's fine, but I for one am tired of seeing great models and layouts ruined by low-res junk pics. "Ross Crawford" (...)
