  Re: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand

Well, I remember the show, although I didn't make the connection at first. M.A.S.K was pretty much a precursor to bigger and better stuff like transformers and action vehicles. Even though it aired a little later, it was still based loosely around (...) (19 years ago, 31-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand

(...) A quick search of Brickshelf yielded these (URL) had the corvette, but I swapped it for something else. I was more of a G.I Joe / transformers kid. Steve (19 years ago, 31-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Mobile Armored Strike Kommand

Does anyone here remember this cartoon from the 80s? If so, has anyone tried to make lego versions of these vehicles? (19 years ago, 31-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Gottwald AMK 1000t mobile crane

I Disagree. Many models *require* a high resolution pic to properly view all of the details. If hi-res and low-res are available that's fine, but I for one am tired of seeing great models and layouts ruined by low-res junk pics. "Ross Crawford" (...)   Re: gearbox pack 673F - any use for it?

Hello Xantra47, Xanthra47 schreef: (...) No, there is no differential in there. Both wheels have their own motor and some planetary gearings. The new type of gearbox packs have two red leds and have transparant casing. You can see the inners of (...) (19 years ago, 30-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wheel Loader

(...) Thanks Kevin and Alvin! Compliments from two individuals with such a high caliber of design talent are well appreciated. Hopefully my upcoming MOC's can live up to your expectations! (19 years ago, 29-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: My first truck mounted crane

(...) Welcome to the world of outriggers! Incidentally, some larger crawler cranes also have outriggers to raise the body as the crawlers are fitted or extended. The LG-1550 certainly looks great! Hope to see pictures of the updated version soon! (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wheel Loader

(...) Hi Nathan, Thanks for posting this and the Dump Truck. It is always a pleasure to see your models. As you know I don't do "wheels", but I do appreciate the work of those that do. Kev (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wheel Loader

(...) Nathan, Great looking models. I really like the skull and crossbone mudflaps on the back of the dump truck. They add a nice touch. -Alvin. (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Wheel Loader

Designing an MOC to fit with another MOC can be difficult, but this wheel loader can dump loads into the dump truck I posted a link to Wednesday. To do this I had to get all the range out of the lower lifting pistons as possible, and sacrifice some (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Legoworld 2005 & GBC Counters

(...) The module was made by Greg Dykstal, but I can tell you a bit about it. I don't mean to say anything bad about it, but it was a "young" module, without a great deal of testing time. Of course, it was also one of the most complex. So, it ended (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Legoworld 2005

Hi Steve, (...) Wow! very nice display! How is it actuated? How are the balls detected and how fast can the module count them? Philo (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Legoworld 2005

  My first truck mounted crane

Seeing as how everyone and their brother has built a model of a Liebherr LG-1550, I figured that I might as well give it a shot. I posted some teaser photos of the first attempt: (URL) must say that it is much harder to construct a truck-mounted (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Legoworld 2005

Hello Mario, Steve & all (...) It was a great pleasure to be able to build a bigger GBC, an even greater one to see the sparks in the eyes of children...   Re: Is there any incentive to buy set 8436...

(...) 5 Reasons 8436 is a good buy: 1. It has awesome tires, and more than just 2 or 4 of them. 2. It has many possibilities for MOC's, such as Nathanael Kuipers design. (URL) It is a great kit for providing a little bit of everything. 4. It is a (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Is there any incentive to buy set 8436...

(...) Not really. 8462 is awesome, and uses lots of studded technic bricks. The tow arm assembly is unique and never been used the same way in subsequent tecnic set. (...) I can already do that using my 8479's wheels, they're the same (although (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Is there any incentive to buy set 8436...

(...) Well, I'd say compare the (URL) 8436> to what preceded it, the (URL) 8462>. Here's a thought, you could use the wheels on the 8436 to build a longer version of the 8421! Adr. (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
